FAQs

What is UNCC Flower Hunt?

UNCC Flower Hunt is a student led project which attempts to provide a way to interact with the garden virtually! It consists of a series of questions as you follow along the path in the Botanical Gardens. After answering each question, you will be shown the correct answer as well as a fun fact!.

Are there any technology requirements?

The Flower Hunt works best on iPhone, but can be accessed on all mobile devices in your web browser.

Which gardens are included in the Flower Hunt?

We currently only offer a flower hunt for the Susie Harwood Garden (see the “Maps” page for the best route to complete the hunt), but hope to add flower hunts for the other attractions at the UNCC Botanical Gardens soon!

How long does it take?

It depends on how long you “stop to smell the roses”! The overall length of the path the flower hunt takes you is around half a mile, although there are many other areas of the Botanical Gardens we recommend exploring!

How much does it cost?

It is completely free!
